Divine company is based in East London. We produce accessible luxury dance and circus performance, with exquisite form and exciting content. Founded in 1999, Divine Company is now the country’s largest company of its kind, boasting active relationships with over 200 world class artists and a platinum client portfolio.

Performances

Each event, venue and client is different. We offer unrivalled flexibility when it comes to our performances. Our movement repertoire covers multiple disciplines, for almost any musical tempo and time signature. With this as our starting point every performance is created to suit each unique event. We can work to any music, in the most unusual performance spaces. We arrange professional, polished and slick performances with no fuss and no standard rehearsal fees, and our structured system of organisation ensures that our artists are always easy to deal with on-site.

Costumes

We have a large costume department with a team of makers, designers and wardrobe mistresses to keep it in order, develop existing pieces and produce new work. Costume and props are designed to move, coming alive when they are worn in performance, and created using materials from around the world. Added to this is exquisite detailing, vibrant colour and the extensive use of light and sound. Many of our pieces have been created to be extremely versatile, with detachable detailing and parts which allow graceful costume changes and mean we can adapt our look to precisely fit the brief.

Artists

New talent emerges constantly, so we actively scout outside the events industry for fresh faces, from members of the sporting elite to dancers from The Royal Ballet. We have an extensive, detailed artist database which allows us to manage and properly cast our artists. We seek out strong, beautiful, versatile performers who are reliably hard working and professional. We coach artists in our unique range of disciplines and movement repertoire, building a versatile, tightly knit core of performers and extensive contacts in the wider performance community.

Administration

We are known for our seriously professional approach to administration. Being well organised and efficient allows us to respond to our clients quickly and concentrate our resources on creating beautiful proposals and getting the details right. We are a progressive company at heart, and use a range of forward-looking software solutions to enable us to run a tight ship, allowing us to eliminating wasted time and money.
